KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Metrological (Met) Service has reported that a ridge is expected to remain across the island for another few days and that a plume of Saharan dust continues to create hazy conditions across the island.

Meanwhile, a small craft warning also remains in effect for offshore areas of the north coast and inshore and offshore areas of the south coast due to strong waves and rough seas, Met Service said.

Today's forecast includes mainly sunny and hazy conditions in the morning and afternoon while windy conditions are also expected this afternoon with possible isolated showers across hilly areas.

Tonight should be mainly fair.
