Weather Update: High Pressure Ridge is currently across the island

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (Met Service) has reported thata High Pressure Ridge is currently acrossthe island.

“The High Pressure Ridge is expected to remain across the island through to Thursday. Thereafter, a Trough is expected to become the significant feature,” said the Met Service.

This morning isolated showers are to be expected across sections of eastern parishes but partly cloudy elsewhere.

Meanwhile this afternoon is expected to be windyand partly cloudy withfew isolated showers across sections of western parishes.

The Met Service said tonight is also expected to be partly cloudy.
