KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (Met Service) has reported that a pre-frontal trough is currently across the island, while a cold front is across the western Caribbean.

The cold front is expected to move over central Cuba tonight, then it will remain stationary before dissipating through late Tuesday.

This morning it is expected to be partly cloudy across eastern parishes but generally fair elsewhere.

However, the Met Service said that widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms should be expected across sections of central and western parishes this afternoon.

Tonight should be partly cloudy.
