Weather forecast: More rain expected today

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (MET) Service of Jamaica says a trough is expected to linger across the island for the next few days, influencing weather conditions.

This morning, expect showers mainly across northeastern parishes, while it will be partly cloudy elsewhere.

This afternoon, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes, while tonight will be windy and partly cloudy.

The maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 32 degrees Celsius while Montego Bay is 33 degrees Celsius.
