Weather forecast: Expect afternoon showers across central, western parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says a high pressure ridge will remain across the region until late tomorrow evening when a tropical wave is expected to move across the island.

This morning should be partly cloudy across northeastern parishes, while it will be mainly sunny elsewhere.

This afternoon, expect isolated showers across sections of central and western parishes.

Tonight should be mainly fair.

The maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 31 degrees Celsius, while Montego Bay is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius.
