Weather forecast: Trough to bring rain to western parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says a trough is expected to remain in the vicinity of the island for the next few days.

However, shower activity is expected to be limited to western parishes.

This morning, partly cloudy conditions are expected across eastern parishes while it will be mainly sunny elsewhere.

This afternoon should be partly cloudy across eastern sections of the island, but widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across central and western parishes.

Tonight should be mainly fair.
