Weather update: Rains in Corporate Area to ease tonight

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says isolated showers and thunderstorms being experienced in the capital city of Kingston at the moment are expected to dissipate by tonight.

Heavy showers have been reported across sections of the Corporate Area today while island wide there was generally fair weather.

The police this afternoon advised motorists to exercise caution exiting the Portmore Toll Road on to Marcus Garvey Drive in St Andrew due to flooding of the roadway in the vicinity of the Tinson Pen Aerodrome.
