Westmoreland man hit by minibus, dies

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica— A Westmoreland man died yesterday after being hit by a Toyota Coaster bus on the Lindos Hill main road in the parish.

The police say that at 6:17 pm, Derrick Hall of Logwood district was walking along the roadway when he was hit.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the minibus has been warned for prosecution, the police said.
