Windies lose openers in search of 206

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Spinners Narsingh Deonarine and Sunil Narine led the West Indies fight back on day three but New Zealand claimed two quick wickets in defending a target of 206 runs in the second Digicel Test match at Sabina Park.
Starting the day on 59-2, New Zealand were troubled by Deonarine (4-37), Narine (3-19) and lively pacer Tino Best (2-44) before being bowled out for 154.
Chasing 206 for a 2-0 series win, the West Indies lost both openers with the score on 20.
Christopher Gayle (8) went to the bowling of left-arm seamer Trent Boult before Kieran Powell was dismissed for six by tall speedster Tim Southee.
First innings centurion Marlon Samuels is on 20, while Assad Fudadin is not out on 16.
Scores: New Zealand 260 (82.5 overs) and 154 (65.2 overs) West Indies 209 (64.3 overs) and 56-2 (12 overs).
