Unidentified man found dead in St James

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The Barnett Street police were this morning summoned to Park Avenuein Montego Bay, St James,where an unidentified male was found dead.

A passerby reportedly called the police about 7:00 am after stumbling on the body, which responding officers said was in a state of decomposition.

It is of dark complexion, was clad in a blue shirt and gray pant and is about 157 centimetres (5 feet 2 inches) long.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue for post mortem.

Meanwhile, the lawmen are asking anyone with information that can assist them in their investigation or to identify this body to contact the Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-953-6191, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
