KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says an induced trough across Jamaica is expected to continue influencing the weather across the island throughout the weekend, resulting in an increase in rainfall activity.

This morning, expect isolated showers mainly across eastern parishes, partly cloudy elsewhere.
Meanwhile, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across sections of most parishes in the afternoon.

Tonight should become partly cloudy.

The maximum temperature expected for Kingston tonight is 30 degrees Celsius, while Montego Bay will be 31 degrees Celsius.
