Mandeville, Manchester – A Kingston man, named by police as Corbett Fagan, is to face the Manchester Resident Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday on a manslaughter charge following the death of a 42 year-old woman in a motor vehicle accident.

The deceased has been identified as Ann O’Gilvie of Greenvale, just outside Mandeville.

Reports are that O’ Gilvie had exited a taxi on or around 7:00 am Monday on the Content main road near to Williamsfield in central Manchester and was in the process of paying her fare when a vehicle driven by Fagan crashed into the taxi.

O’Gilvie was killed, while the taxi driver as well as a student of Bellefield High were rushed to hospital. The student was treated and released. However the driver was still in hospital up to Tuesday afternoon, police said.
