Letters to the Editor
A lovely read
Thursday, July 26, 2012
Dear Editor,
Sincere thanks to your columnist Jean Lowrie-Chin for the article, "Nothing will steal our joy", in the Jamaica Observer of July 23, highlighting the significant contribution of institutions and individuals to the health and well-being of our people and beyond.
These significant achievements often go unnoticed and I appreciate very much her bringing it to public attention.
We are usually so absorbed in our work that it is not until someone learns of it and expresses surprise that we pause to share the information. It is also commendable that Mrs Lowrie-Chin consistently uses her column to speak to the positive things that are happening in our country by people and institutions that are not in the public eye.
Again, thank you, Mrs Lowrie Chin and the Jamaica Observer, and I look forward to sharing in the achievements of others through the column.
I Forrester
