It's been announced that the Chinese-donated stadium built in Sligoville is to have an operational relationship with GC Foster Sports College. How can GC Foster, the college that cannot even maintain its Olympic-size pool, afford to take over this stadium which cannot attract even one event?
The current international success of our sportsmen and sportswomen is a testimony to the success of GC Foster.This success should be developed. It should not be "twinned" with a stadium that lacks funds and has little potential to develop its own sustainability. Let us develop GC Foster College; do not attach anything to its already meagre income.
