Disrespectful yet funny
Thursday, August 30, 2012
Dear Editor,
In the cartoon of Monday, August 27, I saw a couple dancing and I thought it disrespectful, although overall the cartoon was funny.
Why couldn't Clovis have had that couple dancing like the others?
This would still have sent his main message across.
My problem with the lap dancing by the couple is that young people reading your newspaper should not be exposed to that kind of behaviour. My own children and others do not need that staring them in the face. Besides being a national newspaper, the Jamaica Observer is also a family paper and must take into consideration such matters.
