Farmers must explore alternative energy
Thursday, August 23, 2012
Dear Editor,
To cut down on electricity costs, farmers must explore alternative energy if they intend to stay in business and ensure that their priceless products remain available to consumers. They must consider regenerating manure into electricity.
They must also examine the option of solar, wind, and hydroelectricity, which not only saves money but is also beneficial to the environment. Evidently, the cost of fuel will rise, so thinking about long-term costs and mitigating expenses are necessary in a rapidly changing economy.
