Keep the cartoons coming
Wednesday, September 01, 2010
Dear Editor,
I wish to thank Clovis for the many well needed laughs I've had recently from his cartoons.
That rockstone-flinging street brawl with Portia and Bruce was a classic, but even though I can't help laughing, I want to urge him to be a little bit more respectful to Sista P.
From Clovis's cartoons, I detect that he has a firm position on Portia; but Bruce? I don't know what to say. The Office of the Prime Minister should be held in highest regard, but Bruce makes it hard to defend him. So, my dear Clovis, keep them coming but maybe with a little less of Sista P as the crass Ben Dung Plaza higgler you often make her out to be. Ease up lickle bit, man. I liked her as the fowl farmer, though. That wasn't so bad.
For me and many others, your cartoons are a highlight of our day. That's one feature that keeps us reading the Observer. Big up, and keep them coming. My side hurts.
