Dear Editor,

I am a proud Grenadian living in Antigua. I consider myself a true Caribbean man because I have worked and lived in most of the countries in the region, including Jamaica.

Throughout the region there is unwavering support, love and appreciation for the Jamaican athletes.

However, I must express my disappointment with your cursory coverage of the gold-medal run by Kirani James of Grenada.

Over the years I have followed the Jamaica Observer closely, as the leading newspaper in Jamaica and by extension the region. I check your updates at regular intervals, even via my BB. However, your blatant bias towards Jamaican athletes is really in poor taste.

Come better, Observer. One Caribbean.

Watson Stafford
