Republic idea refreshing
Friday, January 13, 2012
Dear Editor,
It is like a breath of fresh air to hear Portia Simpson Miller pronouncing a truly independent country. Why you should have a distant monarchy as head of state is beyond comprehension.
We in Britain very much hope that the media and the Jamaican people will give Portia full support on this important progressive issue. Go republic, Jamaica!
