Dear Editor,
On behalf of the family of the late Hazel Monteith I wish to express gratitude to the editor and staff of the Jamaica Observer for your kind expressions of comfort on the passing of my mother Hazel Monteith.
Your feature articles on her life and contribution to social work in Jamaica were thoughtful and factual. Senior reporter Luke Douglas, who wrote them, clearly has a passion for keeping your paper relevant and informative.
We also acknowledge the attendance of your staff at the thanksgiving service for her life and also for the pictorial and feature in Life Tributes.
God bless your organisation.
