Letters to the Editor

Thanks a million, JPS

Tuesday, August 07, 2012

Dear Editor,

I would like to express my deepest, heart-felt gratitude to JPS on their superb performance on Sunday, August 5. At what arguably may have been the greatest moment in the history of our nation, I had a power outage. Did Usain win the 100-metre race?

Thanks ever so much, JPS, for the power cut in the middle of the men's 100-metre Olympic finals. I assure you that I will pay every future bill with the utter disgust that I am now feeling.

As I write, one hour later, I can't even find the motivation to leave my house for another location. Thanks to my car radio I got a feel of the atmosphere at the Acropolis. You saved the day for me, RJR 92 FM.

JPS, I look forward to my next light bill with anticipation.
