Letters to the Editor
Well done, Digicel
Friday, November 02, 2012
Dear Editor,
As a customer of Digicel's 4G Broadband Wifi internet service, I would like to commend the company for performing exceptionally well during the passage of Hurricane Sandy.
Thankfully, Digicel's internet service was up and running throughout the period and the broadband speed was always consistent. This demonstrates that the company has invested heavily in the island in terms of its technology, equipment and staff, and this has had vast positive effects for its customers and for the Jamaican economy.
Digicel currently has in operation some of the most modern technological equipment installed in Jamaica and continues to keep pace with worldwide trends. They have demonstrated a significant amount of commitment, devotion and dedication to Jamaica.
I have always found Digicel's customer service staff efficient, well-trained and most helpful whenever I need their assistance. It is clear that the company has placed a great deal of importance on training its customer service and technical staff to the highest levels. Kudos to Digicel, its managing director and staff. Well done, and I urge you all to keep up the exemplary work.
