Why the hang-up, LIME?

Dear Editor,
Why is LIME beefing about "monopoly" when they were the monopoly that kept the Jamaican people in bondage for decades? I remember when they were the monopoly and they introduced cellular service, we had to deposit large sums and pay to receive calls - only well-off people could afford that service.
I don't know why there is such a hue and cry about the Digicel-Claro merger because there will be no monopoly - any dissatisfied customer can switch networks as they wish. What LIME needs to do is make their service so attractive that it captures the imagination of the consumer to subscribe to their network, and not expect everything to drop in their lap.
