Dear Editor,
We the members of the Portmore Garden Club are happy at the effort by the Petrojam Oil Refinery to beautify a section of the median strip of the Marcus Garvey Drive.

This area, facing the refinery, has become not only a beautiful spot but is also a blessing to the environment. Among the shrubs Petrojam has planted are colourful bougainvilleas and lantanas.

We hope this effort will be sustained and that it will motivate many other business places to beautify areas adjoining their operations.
