Amend the constitution

Dear Editor,
The resignation of the director of elections over the matter of US citizenship is appalling. Mr Danville Walker has been in the position for almost 11 years and he has contributed a lot to Jamaica.
To see a man who is a stalwart give up his post is not saying anything good for the constitution of Jamaica. The constitution needs to be amended. I am struggling to understand it, and when I see certain sections I wonder who on God's earth wrote this document.
