Dear Editor,

On February 5, 2018, I purchased a book entitled Looking Back: The Struggle to Preserve Our Freedom, written by Joan Williams. It was so enthralling that I spent the entire night reading it.

Looking Back provides readers with a thorough explanation of the politics of the turbulent 70s and will be enjoyed by anyone interested in learning the truth about that period. Unlike most sycophants, the writer is critical of both parties and does not sanitise the role played by the then Administration in seeking to undermine our freedoms.

Those of us who enjoyed listening to Joan Williams when she sat in for the great Wilmot “Motty” Perkins of blessed memory will not be disappointed.
