Dear Editor,

We, the residents of Caledonia Boulevard, Galway Road and Great House Drive in Mandeville, are writing to seek redress to an ongoing problem with the inconvenient supply of water from the National Water Commission (NWC).

This problem has been almost permanent for some time now, and many of us have had to rely on purchasing water from private providers.

Despite not receiving water from the NWC, sometimes for several weeks at a time, we are presented with bills for water we have never received.

We are at our wits' end at paying for a commodity that we have not been receiving, and which makes life very uncomfortable for us.

Case in point, from over the Christmas and new year's holidays, to the time of this letter being written, we have had absolutely no service.

We are requesting urgent attention to our plight.
