Dear Editor,

The dislike for the Republicans and US President Donald Trump is real. Many folks on social media are upset with the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's visit here to Jamaica. While I saw comments supporting his visit here, I saw a lot of angry comments and emojis on all platforms related to Rex's visit. One comment read: “This is a very, very sad day in Jamaica's history.”

So, I'm here wondering how would Prime Minister Andrew Holness answer the comments of it being a sad day in Jamaica's history?

The purpose of Rex Tillerson's visit was security cooperation mainly to combat transnational organised crime; economic partnership; energy security; forge partnership with Caricom; and solutions to the Venezuelan crisis.

Are people in their right minds really being upset with the above?
