As the fashion crowd sits front row in London-town for the current wave of Fall/Winter 2014 collections, your Under The Dryer Team takes you behind the runway sets, elaborate and minimal alike — thanks to our friends at MAC Cosmetics — to bring you some of our fave beauty looks, from the Thursday-wrapped New York Fashion Week, poised to become the next big things as the weather cools later in the year. Naturally,


Make-up Artist: Tom Pecheux


1 MINERALIZE MOISTURE SPF 15 FOUNDATION lightly applied to create a flawless, yet translucent quality to skin.

2 MINERALIZE CONCEALER used with the 195 CONCEALER BRUSH as needed to perfect.

3 MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURALS swept through the TZone to polish and illuminate skin.


1 MAC PRO GLOSS TEXTURE applied over the eyelid with the 242 Shader Brush as a glossy base.

2 MAC PRO 3D BRASS GOLD GLITTER (available Fall/Winter 2014) pressed through the upper lashline with the 208 SMALL ANGLED BROW BRUSH to create a line of glitter and also lightly pressed into the eyelid with the 252 LARGE SHADER BRUSH, using the flat side for easy precision.

3 GOOD KISSER LIPSTICK (available Fall/Winter 2014) drawn across the crease in the shape of a banana, using the 239 EYE SHADER BRUSH


1 SISS LIPSTICK (available Fall/Winter 2014) applied over the entire lip.

2 MYSELF LIPSTICK (available Fall/Winter 2014) layered over SISS LIPSTICK to finish.

1 FACE & BODY FOUNDATION blended over skin to even, tone and perfect.

2 HUSH CREAM COLOUR BASE pressed into the cheekbones with a flat brush to create a peachy warmth to skin.

3 PARTY LINE CREMESHEEN LIPSTICK pressed into the apples of the cheek for a flush.


1 MAC PRO DEEP BROWN PAINT STICK swept through the crease with a fluffy brush to accentuate the natural contours of the eye.

2 HUSH CREAM COLOUR BASE gently pressed into the eyelid for a soft, peachy highlight. 3 FASCINATING EYE KOHL applied through the lower waterline to open and brighten the eye.


1 LIP CONDITIONER TUBE massaged into lips to hydrate and prime.

2 FACE & BODY FOUNDATION lightly applied to soften the natural lip tone.

1 STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER AND PREP + PRIME HIGHLIGHTERS alternately blended and used together for minimal concealing to create super real, natural moisturised looking skin.

2 LUNA, HUSH, AND PEARL CREAM COLOUR BASE equally mixed together and blended over the upper cheekbone, browbone, temple and inner eye to highlight.

3 MOCHA LATTE LIPSTICK, COQUETTISH from the Fall 2014 Trend Forecast/Lip Palette (available Spring 2014), and MAC PRO SHINE MIXING MEDIUM mixed to create a glossy stain and then blended with AU NATURE CREAM COLOUR BASE (available Fall/Winter 2014) under cheekbones to contour.


1 MOCHA LATTE LIPSTICK (available Fall/Winter 2014), COQUETTISH from the Fall 2014 Trend Forecast/Lip Palette (available Spring 2014), and MAC PRO SHINE MIXING MEDIUM mixed one to one with two parts shine, and applied as a glossy stain over the eyelid and faintly through the lower lid under eyes.

2 VELUXE BROW LINER shaded through brows to straighten in shape and followed with clear brow set to groom and refine.

3 NUDE TECHNAKOHL LINER (available Fall/Winter 2014) applied through the lower waterline to open and brighten eyes.


1 LIP CONDITIONER TUBE applied over lips to moisturise and perfect.

2 STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER softly blended over lips to lightly conceal.

3 DESERT ROSE POWDER BLUSH minimally applied with BLENDING BRUSH 217 to create a healthy pinky-beige to lips.

1 MEDIUM STUDIO SCULPT POWDER (available Fall/Winter 2014) swept over the face for a light, airy perfection.

2 FUN ENDING POWDER BLUSH (available Fall/Winter 2014) softly applied over cheeks to create a girly flush of colour.


1 MAC PRO GOLD METAL PIGMENT mixed with MAC PRO GLOSS TEXTURE to create a liquid gold, and then applied over the eyelid in beautiful, painterly strokes.

2 MAC PRO GOLD GLITTER applied through the centre of the lid for a pop of gold sparkle, for a uniquely individual and beautiful effect.


1 OBVIOUSLY BARE LIPGLASS (available Fall/Winter 2014) applied to take the lips to a cool, glossy tone and texture to finish the look.
