Duchess of Cambridge to attend charity gala in first public appearance since the birth of Prince George
On September 12 the Duchess of Cambridge is to undertake her first official public engagement since the birth of her baby, palace sources have confirmed.
Kate and her husband, Prince William, will be guests of honour at the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards, Mail Online can reveal.
It will be the Duchess's first royal job since Prince George was born on July 22, although she is still formally on maternity leave.
Fashion watchers will no doubt be keeping a keen eye on Kate's first post-baby outfit, given her immensely stylish maternity wardrobe.
She also earned worldwide plaudits for her appearance on the steps of the Lindo Wing the day after giving birth, wearing a chic baby blue polka-dot dress by British designer Jenny Packham, which showed off her still prominent baby bump.
The event next month has been organised by Tusk Trust, a UK charity that funds African conservation projects of which William is patron.
He is a passionate supporter of their work and has visited many of the charity's projects in Africa - which accounts for the Duchess's decision to leave baby George at home and join her husband.
It is not clear yet who will be baby-sitting the new third in line to the throne, that job will most likely fall to Kate's mother, Carole Middleton.
That's one wild look: Rihanna covers up in full-length dress
We're used to seeing her flash the flesh in barely-there outfits, but as Rihanna stepped out in New York on Wednesday night there was hardly an inch of skin on display.
The 25-year-old singer was spotted in a striking zebra-print dress which covered her from neck to toe.
With it's high neckline and long sleeves, the frock was a far cry from Rihanna's signature risque look.
The star was spotted heading for a night out in New York and by the looks of her dress it was set to be a glam affair.
Rihanna was hard to miss in her standout dress which featured a bold zebra print and a bizarre feathered collar. The only hint of skin came as the Diamonds singer walked, with a flash of skin glimpsed through a split in the skirt. The star finished her look with a slick of bright red lipstick, some simple black heels, and a selection of sparkly rings on her fingers.
With her hair back to her short crop, Rihanna made sure her dress did all the talking, leaving the flashy accessories behind.
Singer Miguel is arrested on suspicion of drunk driving
Miguel has been arrested for drunk driving in Los Angeles. The 27-year-old singer was initially pulled over early Thursday morning on an L.A. freeway by California Highway Patrol officers for speeding and having potentially illegal tinted windows, TMZ reports.
When the police rolled up to the star's 2013 BMW X6, they discovered he allegedly 'smelled of alcohol,' the website said. They performed several field sobriety tests, which the singer allegedly failed, and also administered a breathalyser test.
Miguel, real name Miguel Jontel Pimentel, is reported by the website to have blown a 0.10 and a 0.11, which is more than the 0.08 legal limit in California.
Miguel was then arrested on a DUI charge and taken to a nearby police station, where he was released a couple of hours later after posting $5,000 bail.
He is scheduled for a September court date and has so far not commented on the incident.
