Behind the scenes on Lindsay Lohan's Vanity Fair shoot

People Post

Looks like blondes really do have more fun

She knew she had a jail sentence and a stint in rehab to complete.

And yet Lindsay Lohan looks remarkably relaxed in shots taken behind the scenes for her cover shoot for the latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

In video footage taken a week before Lohan went to jail for violating the terms of her probation, she looks calm and happy to pose for photographs on a vintage yacht.

"The clothes were really beautiful," she told the magazine's reporter on the behind the scenes footage.

Even before going to jail, the 24-year-old Mean Girls star was looking forward to getting on with her career — she starts filming drama Inferno at the end of September about the life of former porn star Linda Lovelace.

"A lot of people pass judgement and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the reason I wanted to be part of this project was because it's more of a heartbreaking story," she said.

Lohan used the Vanity Fair interview, which accompanies the shoot to say how serious she is about her career.

The interview covers a range of subjects, including her dysfunctional upbringing and tumultuous career, with Lohan claiming to have learned her lesson.

And the actress insists that contrary to media reports, she has never had a problem with drugs.

Lohan was released from jail early last month after serving 13 days of a 90-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation for two DUIs.

After attending three weeks of a court ordered 90-day stint in rehab, Lohan was released on August 25.

Kelly Osbourne celebrates her slim new figure in performance with the Pussycat Dolls

She's finally got the body she has worked so hard to achieve, so it's no wonder Kelly Osbourne is keen to show it off.

The 25-year-old star wore a tight silver backless dress, fishnets tights and a red sparkly hat as she left Los Angeles' Viper Room after performing with the Pussycat Dolls Wednesday night.

Kelly took to the stage alongside the burlesque troupe, actress Carmen Electra and singer Mya in the invite-only show.

Before her performance, Kelly told her fans which songs she would be singing, writing in her Closer magazine column: "It's going to be me, Carmen Electra, Mya and some of the other Dolls singing and dancing."

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and Kelly's mother Sharon also attended to show their support for Kelly.

Meanwhile, Kelly, who showed off her amazing size six figure in a black Tony Ward dress at the Emmys last week, said daily cardio exercise is the key to her staying slim.

She told People.com: "Ever since Dancing with the Stars, I've tried to get in at least a half hour of cardio a day -- nothing too crazy."

Kelly said recently that going on the U.S. TV talent show Dancing With The Stars was the best decision she ever made.

"I've completely changed the way I eat since doing Dancing With The Stars."

Happy birthday Romeo! The Beckhams celebrate son turning eight with a game of laser quest.

The Beckhams entered a futuristic world of lasers and mazes to celebrate their son Romeo's eight birthday on Wednesday.

Victoria and David took their family along to the Ultrazone amusement centre in Los Angeles, with the likes of Heidi Klum and Seal bringing their brood along to join in the fun.

The venue boasts a 5,000 square feet multi-level arena.

Players have to run around and laser each other to score points. Romeo's brother Brooklyn, 11,and five-year-old Cruz were, of course, in on the action.

The front of the building was decked out with a masses of yellow balloons and guests could be seen milling around enjoying the spread laid on.

No doubt the celebrations would have come from a welcome distraction for David, 35, who was recently dropped from the England football team by Fabio Capello.

Meanwhile, Victoria has just flown back to London to choose models for her catwalk show at New York Fashion Week.
