Birthday lunch at the Lyns’
Thursday, September 13, 2012
Succulent pig-in-a-box and tasty bird dishes were the major talking points at retired airline captain Michael Lyn's 67th birthday party last Sunday — well, at least for the lucky few who managed to snag an invite. With signature cigar in his mouth, Lyn and wife Thalia welcomed guests into their upper St Andrew home for a pig roast repast hosted on the couple's balcony by their friends.
Ahead of Father Gregory Ramkissoon sending praises to the heavens for the afternoon spread — with Howard Mitchell pitching in with bird in black bean sauce and fried bird with salt and pepper, and birthday celebrant Michael making a scrumptious pig-in-a-box — guests settled in for what proved a fantastic afternoon of stimulating convo and delicious eats.
