It was a bittersweet day for singer Bobby Brown as he married his partner Alicia in a traditional Hawaiian ceremony in Honolulu.

Daughter Bobbi-Kristina Brown, 19, snubbed the event which came months after her mother Whitney Houston's tragic death, casting a shadow over the day. Brown, 43, married manager Alicia Etheredge yesterday in front of family and close friends in Hawaii less than 24 hours after he performed at a New Edition concert in Honolulu.

The pair's three-year-old son Cassius acted as a ring bearer, and he and his dad wore matching red suits and Adidas trainers. Bobby's older children Landon, 23, La'Princia, 22, and Bobby Jr., 19, were all in attendance, but 19-year-old Bobbi — his daughter with late ex-wife Whitney Houston — was a no show.

Brown and Etheredge have a young son together and became engaged on-stage in 2010 — three years after Brown's acrimonious divorce from I Will Always Love You singer Houston.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have split after nearly 14 years together.

The actor's publicist announced yesterday that the couple had “'amicably separated' and added: 'Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.”

The couple, who have two children, Lily-Rose, 13, and nine-year-old Jack, haven't been seen at a public event together since 2010. Their relationship has said to have been in trouble for several months and recent rumours linked him to his bisexual co-star Amber Heard.

Depp, 48, and Vanessa, 39, got together in 1998 when they met in the Costes Hotel in Paris. Depp had had a high-profile engagement to Winona Ryder and a long-term relationship with Kate Moss.
