Bolt Unscripted

Sunday, August 05, 2012

The launch of Unscripted, a rare collection of images of Usain Bolt 2004-2011, featuring photographer Karen Fuchs with Arts Futures, took place Tuesday, July 25 at a glittering event held at M+C Saatchi, Golden Square, Soho, London. The collection is according to sports journalist and Senior Writer at Runner's World magazine Kerry McCarthy, "an exhibition of the world's fastest man as you've always wanted to see him but never have: with his guard truly down. In professional sport today, elite athletes are often media-trained to convey blandness as standard, but Usain is different. His charisma and personality shine out every time he steps onto the track, leaving fans feeling at once as they know him but also wishing they knew him better". SO shares a timely peek ahead of the attempt by the world's fastest man's quest to become a legend.
