All eyes will be on Washington, DC tomorrow (Monday, January 21), with President Barack Obama's public inauguration on the steps of the US Capitol. Fashion watchers, however, as they were four years ago, will be focused on the First Lady Michelle Obama -- pondering the colour, cut and the designer fortunate enough to have got the nod from the woman whose uncanny knack for what works for her has impressed at every turn.
One thing is certain: Michelle, who turned 49, Thursday last, First Daughters Sasha and Malia and First Grandmother Marian Robinson will not disappoint.
