Skin is on show big time, this season, so now is the perfect time to subject it to some vigorous ‘spring cleaning’. But this time we’re thinking outside the box, which means moving away from the traditional topical application options.

Yes, epidermal nutrition has always been big, but during periods when it will be on full display (Carnival, anyone?) we, of course, get more self-conscious about it.

A green juice or smoothie will keep it looking its best as it’s excellent for detoxing the skin from the inside out and releasing and maintaining a natural glow.

If lack of time limits your visits to the fantastic juice bars in and around the Corporate Area, we recommend that you turn to the produce section of your fave grocery store and head down the aisles that stock greens, namely kale, spinach, broccoli and romaine lettuce to mix with fruits such as our faves — Bartlett pears, ripe bananas and Granny Smith apples.

Get your hands on a powerful blender (for smoothies) or matiscating juicer (for juice) and enjoy the wonders of being green-conscious!
