The stars certainly upped the style ante for the 70th Golden Globe Awards last Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. The Under the Dryer team shares 6 fabulous looks that were among our favourites on the big night.

Kerry WASHINGTON

Kerry Washington kept it simple with a straight, slick do for the awards ceremony.

Thandie NEWTON

Actress Thandie Newton rocked loose curls with a flattering centre part. Her make-up was minimalist with red statement lips.

Nene LEAKES

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes’ hair and make-up looked stunning at the Golden Globes. Leakes rocked tousled short bangs and completed the look with smoky eyes and nude lips.

Halle BERRY

Though critics slammed Halle Berry for her patterned one-shoulder Versace gown, we absolutely loved her hair! She returned to her famous pixie cut and updated the signature look with golden highlights.

Shaun ROBINSON

Access Hollywood anchor Shaun Robinson shimmered in the colour of 2013, emerald green, with her strapless gown by Pamella Roland. Her hairstyle was simple yet elegant — straight with bold highlights and messy bangs.

Jennifer LOPEZ

Jennifer Lopez channelled old Hollywood with her side-swept, wavy hair. Isla Fisher, Amy Adams, Jessica Alba, Jessica Chastain, Kelly Osbourne and Megan Fox also rocked similar looks.
