Khloe Kardashian has filed for divorce from Lamar Odom, after four years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

The reality star, 29, who is being represented by sister Kim's former attorney Laura Wasser, asked to have Odom dropped from her surname, according to TMZ.

The couple reportedly has an 'ironclad' prenup and the beauty is asking for no spousal support from the NBA player who is 34 years old. She wants the judge to reject any of the former Lakers player's requests for support as well.

Last Thursday, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a self-empowering message to her Instagram account, increasing the speculation that the end of her union is near.

"I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish," read the black-and-white note.

Khloe and Lamar tied the knot in 2009, just four weeks after meeting, and have seen their marriage go through a particularly tumultuous time as of late, amid allegations of the basketball star's repeated drug use and infidelity.

Once she is single again, Khloe will remain, for the rest of her life, as the beneficiary on a $10-million life insurance policy Lamar has, reported

Contrary to reports, an insider told the website: "There is absolutely no cheating clause in document... it just doesn't exist."

While the reality TV starlet actually filed the divorce papers last Friday, friends of Lamar claim he was ready to end their four-year union and just wants to focus on his basketball career.

According to TMZ, Lamar told his friends, "I can't be messing with Khloe. She brings out the bad side of me."

While the allegations have not been confirmed, TMZ reports Lamar blames the cheating on his friends for "supporting me the wrong way by bringing girls around".

Now Lamar is said to be more concerned with getting his career back on track and is planning to put all his energy into getting signed by his former team, the LA Clippers.

Khloe filed for divorce last Friday, but Lamar also wanted to end their four-year union to focus on his career.

'I wished it was your wedding instead'

Paul Walker was laid to rest on Saturday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood.

Following the late actor's burial, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez paid tribute, yet again, to their fallen Fast And Furious co-star.

But this time Tyrese, clearly overcome with emotion, was unable to bridle his soaring rhetoric as he attempted to honour the 40-year-old's life.

Posting a black and white portrait of Walker to Instagram, Tyrese wrote: "Today in a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead...

"God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings.

"For selfish reasons we all wanted you to stay, another laugh, another take, another talk, another moment...I guess you can't get all you ask for in life...

"But our hearts are FULL from all the moments we DID have, 13 years of laughter and grace, humility and love..... Never did I take my access for granted..."

Adding: "Continue praying for his #Family, his daughter #Meadow, you are the WORLDS best friend that's why we're all feeling it... #RIHAW Rest In Heaven Angel Walker."

Both the 34-year-old fashion model and rapper Ludacris, according to E! News, attended a memorial service with family and friends following the burial.
