The first trailer for upcoming sci-fi film After Earth was nothing more than a tease. But the second promo for the movie shows it's definitely 14-year-old Jaden Smith's time to shine. And the young actor's character learns a tough lesson in survival and father-son bonding in the movie. Jaden is starring in the film as Kitai Raige alongside his father Will Smith, who also plays his on-screen father Cypher Raige.
Pregnant Jessica Simpson upstages Fashion Star
Grabbing the spotlight away from stunning models when you are pregnant is no easy task, but Jessica Simpson has found a way to do so on her show Fashion Star - with plunging necklines and high hair. In a sneak peek of Friday night's season two premiere, Jessica shows more than just her fashion chops as one of the show's mentors. The 32-year-old once again joins Nicole Richie and John Varvatos as mentors on the show which pitches 12 designers against each other to try to secure deals from leading stores Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's and this year Express.
The buxom blonde's mantra for her designers is be as sexy as possible, and clearly she is practising what she preaches wearing three different very low-cut black dresses in just the first episode.
He's really unimpressed by my career — Rachel Weisz
Rachel Weisz plays a flying wicked witch who rules over the Emerald City in the new film Oz the Great and Powerful.
But one person who isn't amazed by her flying skills is her six-year-old son Henry. "He's really unimpressed by my career," said the 42-year-old during an interview with Good Morning America on Friday in New York City. The Oscar winner was busy promoting the Wizard of Oz prequel, which also stars James Franco, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams. But Rachel's turn as the villainous witch Evanora failed to impress her young son.
"He's very busy building Lego empires in his bedroom and my work is really not interesting to him at all," she said, laughing. The actress channelled her on-screen persona in a black matching skirt and peplum top that sported a white and green flower motif during the interview.
