Jersey Shore's Snooki denies she is expecting
Jersey Shore's Snooki has denied reports that she is pregnant with her first child. The 24-year-old took to the airwaves on radio show Opie & Anthony recently and said she is not expecting with her boyfriend Jionni LaValle. The pint-sized reality star, who just recently trimmed down to 98lbs, said it wouldn't make sense after losing so much weight. The denial comes after Star magazine reported that Snooki had told those nearest and dearest to her that she was pregnant. "She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family," an insider told the publication. "She's been telling people that she has a big announcement coming," the source added. The denial also comes after the star took to Twitter with hints leading many to believe that she might be expecting. Last month the reality star, who recently slimmed down to a trim 98lbs, told talk show host Jay Leno that she would like to marry Jionni and start a family."I'm still waiting for that ring, I swear to God," Snooki, born Nicole Polizzi, said. "I've been telling him this for months now!" She told the talk show host and fellow guest Whitney Cummings: "I live my life crazy, partying... whatever, but I'm ready to settle down and have a little baby." She even gave her man a cut-off date for how long she will wait. "I'm 24 now. He has until 26 to ask me." She then boldly stated: "If he doesn't ask me, I'm asking him!"
Catch me if you can!
Now that he is walking, Alicia Keys' son Egypt was keen to take a stroll around Kauai airport recently. The 15-month-old toddler kept his mother on her toes as they prepared to leave the Hawaiian island after a week-long vacation. Under the watchful eye of the 30-year-old singer, the adorable little boy tottered around, fascinated by his surroundings. The tiny tot looked delightful in a printed T-shirt, some grey baggy trousers and little black lace-up leather shoes. Prepared for the flight home, Alicia looked comfortable and casual in a pair of faded jeans, a grey T-shirt and some high-top sneakers. The mother-of-one appeared to be waiting for her husband Swizz Beatz, as mother and son stood by piles of luggage. After he emerged, Alicia picked up her gorgeous little boy and the whole family made their way into the terminal. After wowing a week earlier with a stunning performance at the Producers Guild Awards, Alicia recently relished some time off with her family on the popular tropical island. Earlier last week, the musical couple was spotted chasing after the adorable toddler on a Hawaiian beach. Alicia missed out on attending the Directors Guild of America Awards over the weekend where she was nominated for her directorial debut of her short film Lili. She earned the achievement in conjunction with Demi Moore, Patty Jenkins, Penelope Spheeris and Jennifer Aniston for their joint Lifetime project, Five, which consisted of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer. The women lost out to Jon Cassar's The Kennedys.
'I wore THREE sets of Spanx to the SAG Awards'
It was a triumphant night for The Help's Octavia Spencer, but not, it seems, a particularly comfortable one. The actress, who won a gong for outstanding actress in a supporting role, has revealed she cut short the celebrations because she was being "pinched in places I didn't know possible" by shapewear. The 41-year-old star described the awards show preparations as 'very stressful' in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, adding that she wore not one but three sets of slimming garments under her stylish Tadashi Shoji gown. "I was not a Girl Scout but I try to be very prepared. I triple Spanx," she told DeGeneres. "It's wonderful, because it gives you the illusion of an hourglass (figure) with the sand kind of spread out." But her smooth lines came at a price. "I could not party that night because I was being pinched in places that I didn't know it was possible," she said. Spencer didn't maintain the serious tone for too long though. She jokingly said that she has a message for thin actresses — eat. The voluptuous star said: "If more women ate, they would be a lot happier. Let me tell you, I am a lot grumpier when I don't eat." Earlier in the evening — when accepting her SAG Award — Spencer joked that she had to work out more to be able to lift the hefty statute. Carrying on that theme backstage, she said: 'I'm just gonna lift this baby a few times to lose that little bit of weight I need to".
