Pharrell Williams and longtime love Helen Lasichanh tie the knot wearing unconventional attire
And the bride wore... plaid.
Pharrell Williams tied the knot with longtime love Helen Lasichanh before celebrating in a lavish tartan-filled reception aboard a yacht on Saturday in Miami, Florida. The beautiful couple stepped away from tradition for the party, both wearing different types of the patterned fabric.
Helen looked like a princess in a voluminous dark blue and green coat with a white gown peeking through underneath, while the 40-year-old singer-songwriter opted for a red and green tartan tuxedo. Many guests were also snapped in various types of plaid as the boat named 'Never Say Never' launched from Miami. The couple then allegedly got married later that night at the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Coconut Grove. Several famous friends accompanied the happy couple, according to Us Weekly.
'Usher and Busta Rhymes did a mini concert at the wedding,' a source said. 'It was so fun. The little concert was amazing. It [was] the most fun wedding I've ever been to.' Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke were also rumoured to be performing at the fete. Pharrell and Helen, who have a four-year-old son named Rocket, have kept their private life largely out of the public eye.
The music mogul has had a busy year. Aside from his nuptials, Pharrell has had a number of collaborations top the charts. He was featured on Daft Punk's song Get Lucky and Robin Thicke's single Blurred Lines , as well as two tracks on Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Charlie Hunnam exits role of Christian Grey in upcoming Fifty Shades movie
His casting as Christian Grey caused an uproar among fans of the raunchy tome. And now it has emerged Charlie Hunnam has pulled out of the forthcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. The 33-year-old will no longer be the film's leading man due to his 'immersive TV schedule' as the star of hit show Sons Of Anarchy.
In a statement on Deadline, Universal said: "The filmmakers of Fifty Shades Of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead, given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey." His casting in the film had only been announced last month, in what insiders expect will be at least three films based on EL James's trilogy of books.
However, the announcement was met with vitriol among series fans, who claimed he was not sexy enough for the role. It seems budding actress Dakota Johnson, daughter of stars Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, is still lined up to play Ana in the movie, despite being criticised for the same reason.

Posh joins the fashion elite with a store of her own as she opens Mayfair boutique
Victoria Beckham is set to further cement her career as a fashion designer by opening her own boutique in London's upmarket Mayfair. After months of negotiations, the 39-year-old former Spice Girl has signed a deal to open the shop, selling her collections of clothing and handbags. The location - in Dover Street, just a short walk from Old Bond Street - places Victoria at the heart of the capital's fashion district.
Victoria first hinted at her desire to open a flagship store for her brand in April, when she told British Vogue that London would be the perfect location. She said at the time: 'This is where I want to have my first store. I'd like to do something that is really new, really fresh. Something a little bit conceptual - but not too much.' Her designs have proved popular with the likes of Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow, but have previously only been available online, in fashion outlets and department stores.
A source close to Victoria said: 'She's really excited about getting things moving quickly. Obviously there is still a lot to do, but the hope is to open the store properly early next year with one of the biggest fashion parties of the year.' The news comes after it was reported last week that Victoria and husband David's business empire now boasts earnings of almost £100,000 a day. The three companies which handle their family's branding empire recorded combined turnover of more than £35 million a year, according to Companies House documents.
