Rocco Ritchie took to the stage with his mum during the first leg of her MDNA tour in Philadelphia in August and now it seems that Madonna's son David also wants to get in on the action. The seven-year-old, who was adopted by Madonna in 2006, certainly seems to have taken on his mother's lifestyle as he performed for the first time as part of the popstar's world tour at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last Wednesday night. Taking to the DJ booth with DJ Martin Solvang, David seemed to have got the hang of it at such a young age. The youngster sported a red Adidas hoodie and sang all the way through his mum's concert, helping the DJ with the music. David seems to have embraced his new life and looks set to follow in his mother's footsteps, showing an enthusiasm for the music industry, which seems to run in the family. Staying true to form, Madonna delivered a raunchy and sexed-up performance, at one point stripping down to her underwear. The 54-year-old star didn't disappoint in her energetic set, incorporating a number of outfit changes into the show. The late-night show, which didn't start until after 10:00, was as controversial as ever and while some children might have been shocked by her on-stage antics, David seemed in awe of his adoptive mother.

Prince William bids farewell to childhood nanny
Prince William has said an emotional goodbye to his childhood nanny, Olga Powell, who was at his side through both childhood and the most important days in his adult life. Powell, 82, passed away at the end of last month and her funeral was held last Thursday for family and close friends in Harlow, Essex. The loving, but strict nanny is widely credited for having a massive impact on the lives of both Prince William and Prince Harry as they were growing up. Prince William cancelled four high-profile engagements in the North East of England to be at the private service. He also represented his brother, Prince Harry, who was unable to attend as he is currently serving his country in Afghanistan. Wearing a dark blue suit and black tie he was flanked by Princess Diana's two sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, 55, and Lady Jane Fellowes, 53, for the 30-minute service at Parndon Wood Crematorium. The Prince had appeared calm and relaxed as he greeted fellow mourners outside the crematorium. He stood solemnly as the three-car funeral procession made its way up the road. More than 100 mourners attended the service to pay tribute to Mrs Powell, who lived in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.
