What are your earliest memories of Kingston?

A peaceful and exciting city. On a Saturday afternoon, one would stroll down King Street, visit the Craft Market which is where the head office of the Ministry of Health is now located at 2-4 King Street. Next, one would move on to the Victoria Pier, where either Byron Lee and the Dragonaires or Kes Chin and the Souvenirs was playing. Kingston was fun.

What do you miss when you are not in Kingston?

I miss my home. I am most comfortable when I am at home and I'm able to tend to my garden.

What are your favourite home comforts?

Playing my guitar, singing, surfing the net, and tending to my garden.

What would you do if you were mayor of Kingston for a day?

I would formulate plans to effect the demolition of the old unoccupied buildings that give a dilapidated view of some areas of Kingston.

What's your favourite movie?

The Ten Commandments, although a dated movie, the language used in it has helped me to improve my speaking.

What steered you in the direction of your current career?

I developed a number of skills while I was employed as a corporate executive, which I now find very exciting to pursue. I also have a number of hobbies which allow me much flexibility.

What's the last bit of music that stirred your soul?

I love all forms of music. However, sometimes I hear some gospel songs on Trinity Broadcasting Network that are so very inspiring that I must say, collectively they stir my soul.

What was your last bit of retail therapy?

A multi-media projector.

Which cologne are you currently splashing?

What is your preferred beverage?

Fruit Punch.

What was your most memorable meal in Kingston?

Jerk Chicken from Chelsea Jerk Centre.

What upsets you?

People who behave disrespectfully without any provocation.

Name the last book you read.

Your Best Life Now by Joel Osteen.

What's the last movie you saw?

I seldom go to the movies. The last movie that impressed me was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Share your favourite spots on the island.

The all-inclusive hotels in Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios; Dunn's River Falls, and Newcastle.

Share some places in your black book.

The boiling lake in Dominica; seeing a plane landing or taking off every 10 seconds at the O'Hare Airport in Chicago; and viewing the crown jewels at the Tower of London.

What's your advice to a first-time visitor to Kingston?

The people are normally very friendly, and are helpful if you need advice. In every city there are hustlers, and seek a second opinion if you have any suspicion about the advice you are being given.

What's next for you?

I have composed what many think is an excellent Jamaica 50 song and I will be releasing it soon.

Who would call you at 3:00 am?
