Her personal life often overshadows her professional one, but clearly Naomi Campbell still knows how to strike a pose.

The 42-year-old has modelled a range of luxurious high-end ensembles during a photoshoot for the July issue of W magazine. The shoot is part of a promotional run that the model is currently in the midst of as she prepares for the launch of a new TV reality series titled The Face.

The supermodel, who lives in Moscow with her Russian billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin, will mentor aspiring models on the show, which is being made by Oxygen network. As styled by Giovanna Battaglia, she has been photographed for W in designs by Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro and Mary Katrantzou.

Campbell, who is rumoured to be looking to buy a villa in Ibiza with Doronin, offered the magazine some advice for younger, less experienced models. She said: "Whatever you do, do it 110 per cent. That's what my mother taught me, and it's what I've always believed in."

Angelina Jolie plays evil fairytale sorceress Maleficent

Angelina Jolie has undergone something of a transformation to play the evil sorceress Maleficent.

Wearing a leather-horned headdress, and yellowed contacts, the actress was also given a bit of help in the cheek department with the addition of some Lady Gaga-style cheek prosthetics. The 37-year-old plays the title role in the updated version of Disney’s 1959 animated feature Sleeping Beauty and of her costuming she said: “We’re experimenting with different things. But the horns are the horns — you can’t deny them. You have to have horns.”

In this updated version, the focus of the film is on the events that hardened Maleficent’s heart, leading her to curse the baby Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), played by Elle Fanning. The film will be directed by Robert Stromberg and is set for release on March 14, 2014.
