We're back with more highlights from Denise's Perfectly Polished Beauty and Barber Salon where the Under the Dryer team was joined by J Wray & Nephew bartenders who expertly mixed Absolut Lime Cay cocktails for clients.

Pretty and Silky

Dauna McPherson, attorney-at-law

Though Dauna is visiting The Rock for vacation, being fab certainly did not take a break. She got a fab new 'do at the salon, which her mum has been visiting for years.

Steps:

o Relax the hairline with Design Essentials® Regular Conditioning Relaxer.

o Once the hair has been processed, rinse the hair and cleanse with Design Essentials Neutralizing shampoo.

o Replenish the hair with Motions Nourish Leave-In Conditioner.

o Create cornrows.

o Securely apply hair extensions by sewing them carefully into each row.

o Cut the hair to the desired length. Ensure that a side-swept bang is created to the front.

o Flat-iron the hair at medium temperature.

o Lightly mist the hair with KeraCare Oil Sheen with Humidity Block

Dauna's take:

I love the finished product.

Spunky New 'Do

Shadda Reid, store owner

"I'm a fan of funky hairstyles. I can't wait to see the new look I'll be getting today," shared Reid as she sat in the styling chair. It was therefore no surprise when Shadda opted for a chic twist to the oh-so-popular Mohawk hairstyle.

Steps:

o Cleanse the hair with TRESemmé shampoo.

o Replenish the hair with TRESemmé Flawless Curls Conditioner.

o Flat-wrap the hair with Nairobi® Wrapp-It Shine Foaming Lotion.

o Sit under the dryer until the hair is completely dry.

o Trim the sides of the hair.

o Apply one pack of Romance Twists in the centre of the hair.

o Trim the hair to the desired length.

o Lightly mist the hair with Nairobi oil sheen.

o Lightly mist the hair with Pump It Up Spritz - GOLD - SUPER HOLD.

Shadda's take:

I wanted something different yet trendy. It's exactly what I wanted.

Corporate Chic

Jodi-Ann Wright, Marketing Coordinator

Jodi-Ann made this drastic cut a mere two month ago. "I was really excited when I got the pixie at first. It is surprisingly a very versatile look," she explains. Wright quickly got her look refreshed for the office.

Steps:

o Cleanse the hair and scalp with Nairobi Nairo-Lites Conditioning Shampoo

o Replenish the hair with Nairobi® Humecta-Silª Conditioner.

o Flat-wrap the hair with Nairobi® Wrapp-It Shine Foaming Lotion.

o Trim the hair into the desired shape.

o Apply soft curls using a flat iron.

o Finish the look by misting the hair with Nairobi oil sheen

Jodi-Ann's take:

I love it! Tanisha always styles it creatively.
