Film producer Justine Henzell recently gave SO a sneak peek of the new OnePeople documentary, which sees herself, and fellow producers, Academy Award-winning director Kevin Macdonald and Zachary Harding, crafting a celebration of Jamaica's 50th year of independence. The documentary will spotlight interviews with Rock-born and Rock-connected notables. Just last week, Henzell and company completed interviews in the Big Apple with Vanity Fair contributing editor George Wayne, Pulse international supermodel Jaunel McKenzie, Essence editor-in-chief Constance White, über-hot fashion designer Carly Cushnie — one half of the designing duo Cushnie et Ochs — and Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and her mum Una.
OnePeople is set to premiere August 6, 2012 in Miami, Toronto, New York, London and Kingston.
