Selma Blair and Alicia Silverstone show off baby bumps

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

The baby boom in Hollywood continues with a long list of stars expecting new additions to their families this year. Actresses Selma Blair and Alicia Silverstone are among those receiving a bundle of joy and they both showed off their very impressive baby bumps last weekend while out in Los Angeles. Alicia, 34, looked like she was just about to pop as she shopped in West Hollywood. The Clueless actress wore a bright green T-shirt with grey sweatpants and crocs to stay comfortable in the warm LA weather. She is expecting her first baby later this year with her husband of six years Christopher Jarecki. "I've been wanting to have a baby since I was two years old - I'm destined to be a mother," Silverstone said in April. She wed Jarecki - the lead singer of group STUN - in June 2005. Meanwhile, Hellboy and Cruel Intentions actress Selma Blair grabbed a snack and a hot drink from Coffee Bean in West Hollywood. The 38-year-old star wore black sweatpants, a great sweater and workout shoes while out and about. Selma and her boyfriend Jason Bleick, a fashion designer, announced last month that they are expecting their first child together, due later this spring.

Proud Bradley Cooper makes girlfriend Renee Zellweger take a bow

It's not often that actors like to share their moment in the limelight. But as he was being interviewed on Inside The Actors Studio last Saturday, Bradley Cooper did just that - pointing out his girlfriend Renee Zellweger in the audience. An embarrassed Renee blushed before standing up to wave hello as the audience applauded. She had been sitting with Cooper's mother Gloria, who gave her a warm smile as the attention was turned on her. Cooper was on the famous acting show when host James Lipton mentioned that an "enchanting and gifted actress" was with him in the audience. Cooper then proudly pointed at her, saying "Renee Zellweger". Lipton then reminded him of when Renee had been with him on the famous stage, asking her: "We had a great time when you were in that chair - was it okay for you?"

Earlier this year supportive Renee dropped out of the Golden Globes at the last minute to support Cooper after the death of his father Charles.

Sandra Bullock cradles son Louis on afternoon out in New York

Holding on tight to her son Louis, Sandra Bullock continued to play her best role to date as doting mother. The Oscar award-winning actress and her adorable one-year-old toddler were seen spending an afternoon out in New York City Saturday last. The pair headed out to the Soho neighbourhood where Sandra was meeting a friend for lunch. For the outing, the 46-year-old bundled up her precious boy in some warm clothes, a woollen beanie and black Nike baby trainers. Mother and son also wore near-matching military jackets in beige. Sandra slipped on usual casual attire for her lunch date -- a pair of faded blue jeans, a cream wool sweater and black leather motorcycle boots. Since her appearance at last month's Oscars, the 46-year-old has slipped back into her busy New York schedule of working hard and spending time with little Louis.
