Twilight: Eclipse and Inception lead MTV Movie Award nominations
Sunday, May 08, 2011
Twilight: Eclipse is set to take the MTV Movie Awards by storm, after having received eight nominations.
The third film in the saga has been nominated for best movie, while its lead actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have both received nods for best actor and actress categories. Pattinson will be competing against his Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner as well as Zac Efron for Charlie St Cloud, Daniel Radcliffe for Harry Potter , and Jesse Eisenberg for The Social Network. While Stewart is up against Natalie Portman for Black Swan, Emma Watson for Harry Potter and Jennifer Aniston for Just Go With It.
Inception is in the running against Twilight for best movie, with Leonardo DiCaprio's film receiving seven nominations. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 has also made an impression and received six nominations, while The Social Network has five. Inception's Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been nominated for the Biggest Badass Star award and for Best Fight, after his zero-gravity hallway fight scene. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will compete against Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for Best Kiss after locking lips in both of the popular franchises that they're famed for. Harry Potter's Tom Felton has been nominated to take the prize for Best Villain for his role as Draco Malfoy. But Twilight seems to be a favourite among voters and it's the second time in three years that the vampire film is leading the way at MTV's Movie Awards. The awards show will be hosted by Jason Sudeikis on June 5 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Jesse James claims fiancée is better in bed than ex Bullock
Jesse James has dealt his ex-wife Sandra Bullock another humiliating blow after he claimed his fiancée Kat Von D is better in bed than the actress. In a rather ungentlemanly admission, the reality star said it was a "no-brainer" when asked by radio presenter Howard Stern who was better in bed. He said, "That one is an easy no-brainer. Kat Von D. One hundred per cent. She's a vixen." While Bullock couldn't forgive James when she discovered he had cheated on her with tattooed model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, he insists he would be forgiving if in the other place. He explained, "If she cheated on me, I would forgive her and still love her." But the reality star has revealed he actually wanted to get caught, and has admitted he "should've just ended" the marriage.
He said, "I think subconsciously I did [want to get caught], but I didn't think it would be as crazy as it got."

David Beckham looks macho on a motorbike... but ruins the effect with a man bag
He is well known for his metrosexual sense of style. However, David Beckham took the look to a whole new level as he rode out to Malibu for some alone time at the beach. The 36-year-old soccer star gave off conflicting images on Wednesday last as he cruised around on his new custom motorcycle while carrying a less than masculine red leather man bag. Wearing an all-black outfit and red leather driving gloves, David drove the huge matte black motorcycle from his Beverly Hills home out to the luxury beachside community. He then spent time relaxing on the beach, sunbathing and wading in the Pacific Ocean while showing of his athletic physique and collection of tattoos. David spent his afternoon completely alone, clearly happy in his own company, while wife Victoria was at home with the couple's three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. The Beckhams are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their fourth child, a girl, who is due later this year.
