McINTOSH...awards recognises organisations' hard work to assist less-fortunate

SUPREME Promotions Limited, organisers of Sting, presented donations to their charities recently. These include Dare to Care and AIDS Prevention and Education Campaign (APEC), two organisations that care for children and adults living with HIV/AIDS.

The presentation was made at the Spanish Town Seventh Day Adventist Church which is in proximity to the offices of these organisations.

Speaking on behalf of Dare to Care, Donna Reynolds expressed her sincere appreciation to Supreme Promotions for selecting them as beneficiaries of the $50,000 worth of groceries that was donated by Howard McIntosh, who represented Supreme Promotions Limited.

According to McIntosh, who spoke on behalf of Supreme Promotions, the APEC and Dare to Care were selected in recognition of the hard work they have been doing for the less fortunate in the society. He thanked all those who made Sting 2002 the success that it was, especially having regard to the fact that all the patrons were well-behaved. He also expressed appreciation to the sponsors, artistes, police and the technical staff.
