The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's National Restaurants and Pastry Competition and Expo takes place at the Hilton Kingston Hotel.
Miss Jamaica Festival Queen pageant
At the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. The 13 parish finalists will vie for the crown.

JCDC Folkfest
At 7:00 pm at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. Performances by the gold medal winners in the traditional folk forms: bruckins, ring games, dinki mini, nine nite, revival ,etc.
July 22
JCDC Speechfest
At 7:00 pm at the Festival Village, Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. Spoken word presentations in dialect or otherwise, by individuals or groups.
July 23
JCDC Dancefest
The gold medal-winning dances in this year's Festival on display at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, at 7:00 pm.
July 24
JCDC Dramafest
The best dramatic productions of Festival 2003, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, at 7:00 pm.
July 25
JCDC Musicfest
The best of musical talent revealed during Festival 2003 will be showcased, at the Ranny Williams entertainment Centre, at 7:00 pm.
St Michael's Barbecue
The event takes place at the police Officers club, Hope Road, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Entertainment, prizes. Gate prize: Weekend for two at a Super Clubs resort.

Jamaica Food Festival - National Professional Culinary Arts Competition and Exposition
At the Renaissance Jamaica Grande Hotel, Ocho Rios. Outstanding presentations by chefs from the island's leading hotels and restaurants on display.

Turntable Thursdays at Waterfalls
Featuring Merritone Music. The dancing begins at 9:00 pm.
Tuesdays at the Village Cafe
Live entertainment and poetry. Open microphone at 10:00 pm.
And on Thursdays: Old School Buss In The Village, with Karl "The Hitman" Marshall of HOT 102 FM, from 9:00 pm until... Relive the hits of the 1970s and 1980s.
Dance Tuesdays
At Casson's English Pub, Braemar Avenue. Music by DJ Archie. From 8:30 pm until.
Poets Rush Di Mic
Creative acts and live music at WeekEnz Bistro on Tuesdays; host is Connie Bell.
Bikini contest
Wednesdays at the Village Cafe. Winner gets $10,000.
SugarShack
On the last Friday of each month from 7:00 pm-2:00 am at Sugardaddies Restaurant (19 Hillcrest Avenue).
